Pawfessors ("we," "us") runs this website and its associated YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram channels. Pawfessors is operated by Fortuna Lyra Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, a company registered in Türkiye (MERSİS No: 0388200435300001 · Ticaret Sicil No: 1152905 · Vergi No: 3882004353), address 5. Levent Mah. 15 Temmuz Şehitler Cad. C1 Blok, Ladin 1 No:10/13 İç Kapı No:47, Eyüpsultan/İstanbul, Türkiye — that company is the "data controller" for anything below. This page explains what little information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. What we collect

• Purchase information — if you buy a guide, that purchase is processed by Paddle, our payment processor, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. Pawfessors does not directly collect, see, or store your card details. Paddle passes us your email address and order details so we can email you the guide and your order confirmation. See Paddle's privacy policy for how it handles your payment data.
• Study Hall forum data — if you create an account on our community forum at study.pawfessors.com, we store the email address and username you register with, anything you post there, and standard technical records the forum software keeps (including your IP address, browser and device information, and login session cookies). The forum is public: anyone can read it without an account, and search engines are allowed to index it, so a post can show up in Google results under your username. Only the staff areas are closed. Write with that in mind. If you post photos, they're public too — the software automatically strips embedded metadata such as GPS location from every image on upload, but it can't remove what's visible in the picture itself. Images you upload are stored on the forum server and included in its encrypted backups. The forum runs on Discourse, open-source software we operate ourselves on a server we rent.
• Basic, anonymous site-usage stats — we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect or store any personal data or IP address. It tells us things like which pages get visited and whether the free preview button gets clicked — never who you are.

Cookies

This site itself doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies — our analytics tool doesn't use cookies at all. The Study Hall forum sets only the cookies it needs to work: keeping you logged in and remembering display preferences such as text size. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

How we use it

• To deliver the guide you bought, along with your order confirmation, and to handle any refund you request.
• To run the Study Hall forum: your account, your posts, moderation, and the notification emails you choose to receive.
• To respond if you contact us directly.

That's it. We don't use your email for anything else, and we don't sell it — to anyone, ever.

Who we share it with

• Paddle — handles your payment as merchant of record, under its own privacy policy, linked above.
• Vercel — hosts this website and the backend code that processes your order and sends you email. See Vercel's privacy policy.
• Hostinger — our email provider, and also the company we rent the server from that runs the Study Hall forum. See Hostinger's privacy policy.
• Backblaze — stores the Study Hall forum's encrypted nightly backups, which include forum accounts and posts, and the forum's traffic records (IP addresses and access times) that the law requires us to keep. Both are held in Backblaze's EU data centre (Amsterdam) in private, encrypted storage; the traffic records are locked so they cannot be altered or deleted before the legal retention period ends, and are deleted automatically once it's over. • Brevo — sends the Study Hall forum's emails (sign-up confirmations, password resets, notifications). See Brevo's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Purchase records: for as long as Turkish tax and accounting law requires us to keep them (typically several years), even if you ask us to delete other data we hold about you.

Forum data: your account and posts stay up as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Because Türkiye's Law No. 5651 treats us as a hosting provider for the forum, we are required to keep basic traffic records (such as IP addresses and access times) for the period the law specifies, and we keep them for that period even after an account is deleted. Posts you made may remain visible in a thread after deletion, anonymised, so the conversation still makes sense.

Your rights

You can ask what we have on file for you, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe at any time — just email info@pawfessors.com. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA — including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — and the same email works for those requests too.

Children's privacy

Pawfessors is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
